BURG.L chips are how you unlock most of Grounded's tech tree — every chip you hand back expands the Science Shop with new recipes, building pieces and upgrades. Here are all 11, where to find them, and what each one unlocks. (Original Grounded — see our Grounded 2 guides for the sequel.)
Each chip you return to BURG.L (the robot in the Oak Lab) expands his Science Shop — adding recipes, building pieces, smithing upgrades, mutations, SCA.B scanner upgrades, Ant Queen friendship offerings and cosmetics. You then unlock those entries by spending Raw Science. A couple of chips are the only source of specific mutations (Daredevil, Battle Buddies, Buff Lungs, Dissection Expert).
