If you played the first Grounded, you already know these — optical disks are the sequel's BURG.L chips. Drop one into any Ranger Station (Outpost) and it expands the Science Shop with new recipes: buggies (mounts), smithing globs, advanced building pieces, scanners and décor. TURBO disks sit on the main story path and effectively gate progress; Gray disks are optional finds that add extra recipes.
