How to Summon Yagluth

Offering5× Fuling totem
Where to find itFuling totems are a guaranteed drop from Fuling Shamans, sit beside the bonfires in Fuling villages, and fill some Fuling outposts. Clearing one village usually nets all five.
Altar locationHis altar is in the Plains. The Vegvisir spawns at Stonehenge-style structures — but its spawn chance is low, so you'll often stumble on the altar itself before the runestone.

Attacks to watch

Step-by-step strategy

1

Drink Fire-resistance barley wine (−50% fire) before you start, or wear the Fenris set which gives fire resist + speed and lets you skip the mead. The fight is balanced around having it.

2

Note he's wreathed in darkness — you can't use the Wet effect for fire resist, so the mead/Fenris really is the answer.

3

Stay in melee at his face with a Silver sword or Frostner (he takes spirit damage). From there his head blocks the meteors and you can punish between attacks.

4

At the start he rises out of the ground — get free backstab hits while he's emerging.

5

Pop the Bonemass power to tank chip damage and shrug off the Deathsquitos and Fulings that wander in. Clear nearby villages first.

Drops & Forsaken Power

TrophyYagluth trophy
MaterialsTorn spirit ×3
What it unlocksTorn spirits build the Wisp Fountain, which spawns Wisps so you can craft a Wisplight — the lantern you must have to see through the fog of the Mistlands.
🔮 Forsaken Power — Yagluth: Lightning resistance, a farming bonus, and +10% to ALL damage you deal for 5 minutes. The go-to offensive power for every fight after this. Mount the trophy on the Sacrificial Stones at spawn to use it; powers last 5 minutes and buff nearby allies too.

Yagluth FAQ

How do you summon Yagluth?
Place 5 Fuling totems on his altar in the Plains. Totems drop guaranteed from Fuling Shamans and sit by the fires in Fuling villages — one village usually gives all five.
How do you beat Yagluth in Valheim?
Bring Fire-resistance barley wine or wear the Fenris set, then fight him in melee at his face with a Silver sword or Frostner (he takes full spirit damage). Dodge-roll his nova slam, strafe his fire beam, and let his head block the meteors.
What does Yagluth drop?
Torn spirits (used to build the Wisp Fountain for the Wisplight you need in the Mistlands) plus the Yagluth Forsaken Power — +10% to all damage dealt, the best offensive buff.
