The first Forsaken — a lightning-charged stag in the Meadows. Beating him hands you your first pickaxe and opens the Bronze Age.
| Offering | 2× Deer trophy |
| Where to find it | The Deer trophy is a rare drop from ordinary Deer in the Meadows. There's no trick — kill deer as you explore until two trophies drop, then place them in the altar bowls. |
| Altar location | His Forsaken Altar is a ring of standing stones in the Meadows. A runestone (Vegvisir) beside it marks the nearest altar on your map — walk up and interact to place the pin. |
| Boss HP | 500 |
| Recommended gear | Your best Meadows kit — a Flint spear or knife, Leather armour, a Wood or Banded shield, and a Crude/Finewood bow. |
| Weak to | Nothing specific — every damage type works. |
| Resists | — |
| Immune to | Stagger (you can't stun him). |
Attacks to watch
Step-by-step strategy
Clear any Greylings or Boars near the altar first, then summon by dropping the 2 deer trophies on the stones.
Easiest kill is a bow: circle the altar and keep a big rock between you and him to soak his lightning charge, popping arrows in the gaps.
If you'd rather melee, block the antler swipe with a Wood shield and counter — but back off when he rears up for the stomp.
He has only 500 HP. Even a Crude bow with flint arrows drops him in a couple of minutes.

| What it unlocks | The Hard antlers craft the Antler Pickaxe — your first pickaxe. That lets you mine Copper and Tin and begin the Bronze Age. |
Eikthyr is boss 1 of 7 — the Meadows Forsaken. The Bronze Age — the Antler Pickaxe is the only way to mine the Copper and Tin you need for Bronze gear.
