Conan Exiles Emotes

Emotes are cosmetic animations on your radial wheel. A few you start with; most you learn permanently by finding their source in the world.

• You start with a few. Point, Wave, Salute, Bow, Shake Fist and Sit are yours from the off. Everything else below is learned.
• The big sources are journals and ghosts. Reading a journal page teaches one emote (collect the whole set — Harlot's, Techtosa's, Ophirean, Raknys), and the six dances are each learned by watching a dancing ghost at a specific spot. A few more come from worshipping a god or from a named NPC teacher.
• The /emote command. Play any emote with /emote name — e.g. /emote bow. If the name is more than one word, wrap it in parentheses: /emote (shake fist). Multi-word names throw a harmless on-screen error but still play.
• Almost everything here is on the Exiled Lands. The journal/ghost/religion network is an Exiled Lands thing — on the Isle of Siptah you generally can't learn the journal emotes in-world (the one exception: Sit is taught at the Ruins of New Khemi on Siptah). Once learned, an emote works on any server/map.
• It saves as you go. Every list below ticks off and remembers your progress in this browser — no account, no login.

Each source is its own checklist with its own progress bar. The journals are the bulk of the hunt.

Each journal page you read teaches one emote. They come in named sets — the trick is finding every page in a set. Techtosa's journals are clustered in Sepermeru's Temple Quarter; the others (especially Harlot's) are scattered across the Exiled Lands. (Exact page coordinates are on the Conan wiki; this list is the complete emote-to-journal mapping so you know what you're still missing.)

The six dances are each learned by watching a dancing ghost at a specific spot — stand near it until the emote unlocks. (A few also have an alternate "Dance Instructions in a bottle" pickup, e.g. the War Dance near Scavenger Coast and the Cimmerian Dance NE of the Den of the Wolfmen.)

Four gods have a signature "By [god]" gesture, learned at that god's main location. Note: only these four exist — there is no By-Derketo, By-Ymir, By-Jhebbal-Sag or By-Zath gesture, whatever other lists claim.

A handful of emotes come from a specific NPC teacher or a single location.

The freebies — listed for completeness. You begin with the first eight; converting to any religion adds the three Pray/Kneel gestures.
