Path of Titans Server Config Generator

Build a valid Game.ini for your Path of Titans server. All 147 settings grouped and explained, so there's no hand-editing and no guessing which key does what. Growth rate, permadeath, nesting, waystones, quests, home caves, whitelisting. Flip what you want, copy the output, paste it in. Below the generator you get a searchable admin-command lookup with the permission for each command, and a filterable dino dex. No login, no plan tiers, no host trying to upsell you.

Core Server & Identity

0 / 0 changed

The basics every server sets first: name, map, size, password, who's allowed in. One quirk to know up front, the server name uses underscores for spaces, because real spaces just get stripped.

Public name shown in the browser. Use underscores for spaces - real spaces don't survive.

The map that loads. Panjura is the classic; official maps rotate as they ship.

0

Player cap. Your hardware and host plan are the real limit, not this number.

Set a password to lock the server. Leave blank for open.

0

Slots held back for reserved/priority players.

true blocks free-to-play accounts. Rarely what you want on a community server.

Your community Discord, surfaced in-client.

true = only whitelisted players can join. Manage the list with /whitelist and /delwhitelist.

Chat, Map & Nametags

0 / 0 changed

Communication and map/HUD toggles. Killing these off is the classic move for a harder, more immersive server, since nothing wrecks tension like a global chat spoiler feed.

Master switch for text chat.

The global channel specifically. Off = proximity-only talk.

Let everyone see player nametags. Off is the immersive default.

The full map screen.

The corner minimap.

Markers placed on the full map.

Growth & Progression

0 / 0 changed

How fast dinosaurs grow up and how much they lose when it all goes wrong. This is the single biggest lever on how your server feels, so it's worth getting right before anything else.

false makes everyone spawn/stay at full growth - a 'no-grow' server.

0

Free growth ticked to everyone over time. Raise it for a faster server.

1

Scales growth earned from quests. 2 = double.

0.0-1.00.5

Floor you get rolled back to on death. 1.0 = keep full growth.

0.0-1.00.25

Growth you have when leaving the Hatchling Caves.

Death & Penalties

0 / 0 changed

Permadeath, fall damage, and exactly how much marks and growth each kind of death costs. This is where you decide whether dying stings a little or ruins someone's night.

Hardcore mode - a death ends that character for good.

Show a death-info box on the character select screen.

Server-wide fall damage toggle.

0-10025

Marks lost when killed in combat.

0-10010

Growth lost when killed in combat.

0-1005

Growth lost to starving/thirst/drowning.

45

Minutes you must be alive before the respawn command works.

0

Seconds before uneaten bodies despawn. 0 = default handling.

Flags a killed player's other characters so they can't instantly revenge-kill.

100000

Anti-revenge-kill radius in cm (100000 = 1km).

Playable Roster & Character Limits

0 / 0 changed

Whitelist or blacklist which dinosaurs and critters are playable, and cap how many characters each account gets to hoard.

How many of the same species one account can keep.

Spawn small critter AI.

Grouping & Combat Timers

0 / 0 changed

Packs and herds. Restrict who can group with whom, cap group size, and control the combat and login debuff windows so nobody log-outs their way out of a fight.

Whether grouped players share one combat timer.

About the Path of Titans Server Config Generator

Path of Titans is a cross-platform survival MMO where you play a dinosaur, and community-run private servers are a first-class, officially-supported part of the game, not some bolted-on afterthought. Every private server is tuned through a single Game.ini file: around 130+ keys under [/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameSession], a smaller [/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameMode] block for time-of-day and grouping, and a one-line [BattlEye] anti-cheat toggle. This generator turns all 147 of them into toggles and number fields with plain-English explanations, then writes a valid Game.ini with the correct headers baked in so you're not sorting them by hand.

Where does Game.ini actually live?

The file is generated the first time the server boots, so launch it once if it isn't there yet. Stop the server before editing, because changes made while it's running get overwritten on shutdown and you'll swear you saved them.

The three headers, and why they matter

Most keys live under [/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameSession]. But the time-of-day and group-restriction keys belong under [/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameMode], and BattlEye sits under its own [BattlEye] header. Put a key under the wrong header and it's silently ignored, no error, no hint, just a setting that does nothing. This generator sorts every setting under the correct header for you, which kills off the single most common hand-editing mistake.
