Ark Survival Ascended Scorched Earth Cave Locations

Ark Survival Ascended Center Cave Locations: “Grave of the Tyrants, The Old Tunnels & Ruins of Nosti”

Scorched Earth Ascended is where heatstroke meets horror caves. It’s ARK’s first real desert biome—complete with sandstorms, Thorny Dragons that don’t help, and caves full of Mantis ambushes and regret. If you want to fight the Manticore boss, you’ll need all three artifacts. And probably some water..

  • Water, Always Water: Carry more than you think you’ll need. Then double it. The heat turns thirst into a boss fight.
  • Bug Repellent & Whips: The caves love throwing Arthros, snakes, and rubble at you. Smack first, ask questions later.
  • Desert Cloth or Ghillie: Heat protection is everything. Flak turns you into a baked potato.
  • Cryopods & Beds: Drop respawn points near entrances — because dying of heatstroke mid-run shouldn’t mean starting from base.
  • GPS & Waypoints: Every tunnel looks the same after you pass out from dehydration. Mark the exits before you wander in circles.
  • Pro Tip: Ruins of Nosti has heat, bugs, and loot for days. Bring shade, patience, and the will to live.

General Survival Tips For Ark Survival Ascended Scorched Earth Cave Locations

  • Always carry GPS or set waypoints.

  • Adjust tactics for server rules (flyers allowed or not).

Final Words of Wisdom

If you tame a Thorny Dragon and name it “Scorch,” you’re legally allowed to blame it for every failure on this map.

You’re gonna die from heat. Accept it.

The caves are rough but manageable if you bring water and a Thylo.

Desert drops are your backup loot path if caves aren’t your thing.
